On Monday I spent all day going through videos of manhole dance parties and making a sad little video of all of the wonderful parties we had. It's not sad at all actually, except that it's sad how I spent most of the day reminiscing about college when OH HEY I have an awesome life RIGHT NOW and I could have been wandering around Portland. I did eventually leave the house, I went out for drinks with St Marys girls! It was pretty great considering that I invited people who hadn't seen each other since graduation.

Basically I'm just trying to get all of Contra on my 365. Actually, I don't have to try, because it was on EVERY DAY in the Manhole 2.0.

In case you were wondering, it's currently in version 3.0, available exclusively in Portland.

As per usual, Franzia put on Contra in the afternoon and we were positively enveloped in their awesomeness. I love the manhole. Moving out is going to be such a sad day.

I know I've already said this, but OH MY GOD Contra is such an amazing album. Procure yourself a copy stat. This song is so fun and just runs along so quickly that you can hardly sit still listening to it.

Franzia and Cobbay have been listening to Vampire Weekend's album Contra almost nonstop in our apartment lately. And with good reason. This song blew my mind last night. I'm probably going to listen to Contra the whole way to Seattle today.
